My wife and I took a 30 mins flight during our honeymoon. The whole idea of being swept away by the air, the beautiful sunrise with kangaroos in the background, sweeping views of the farmlands meeting the sky were absolutely terrific. Just wanted to say that we had the pleasure of doing a balloon ride with you in Mareeba on 4 December and wanted to write to say that it was probably the best organised trip I have been on. Everything went like clockwork - you picked us up on time and dropped us off (at the Clarion Beach resort) on time which is something we are not used to back in England. Special thanks to Rob, Shane (the pilot) and Simon who drove us there and back. We were undecided on doing the flight but so pleased we did. Our only regret was our tour got to the start to late and we did not see the balloons being inflated. We had a flight with Hot Air on the 29th June 2003. It was one of the best days ever, and as it was our honeymoon, it was really special. Everything was just great including the fantastic breakfast at Tjapukai, to the markets at Kuranda, and also the Skyrail trip down the mountain. "My husband and I just wanted to say how much we enjoyed our ballooning with you on Tuesday morning and we also wanted to point out what a multi-talented crew you have. On our drive up the mountain, just before dawn, our driver, Rob, noticed a young grey mare wandering on the opposite road, obviously lost. Rob, kindly asked all of us in the bus, if we minded stopping for a few minutes and then he went out onto the road and whispered in her left ear and lead her off the road and into a paddock nearby.
